We just had new Spectrum Cable TV, Internet and Landline Voice installed in our home on Monday. According to Spectrum's website their voice service has Caller ID on the TV. However, that is not the case. I called and spoke with a tech rep who wanted me to go to the store and swap my box for a box with a "clock." Considering this is brand new service for which I paid an installation charge and contracted for this service based on Spectrum's webpage....I was flabbergasted. I don't know why they would install a cable box incapable of delivering the features they tout. I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint and a Federal Trade Commission complaint. I have now heard from an area manager who will research getting us the proper Cable box that delivers the Caller ID on TV feature. HOWEVER, after reading about the "cables boxes" on this website I realize that I might end up with even larger problems.....Does anyone have a suggestion as to what cable box provides Caller ID and top notch streaming. We live in Cedarburg WI, zip code 53012. As you can tell I am not a tech person. Your help will be appreciated.
