Several factors contribute to QuickBooks not opening issues. Sometimes, the problem occurs when you hit the QuickBooks desktop icon multiple times. Some other reasons due to which your QuickBooks won’t open are a long company name, corrupted hard disk, improper QuickBooks installation, or damaged QBWUSER.ini file. You can resolve the problem by using some specific steps, and those are here as under.
Solution 1. Firstly, you will need to close the QBW32.exe process. To proceed, you can right-click on the Windows taskbar and then click start task manager. Now click the process tab, select the image name to arrange the process alphabetically. Now select EXE and click end process.
Solution 2. Another solution is to rename the UBWUSER.ini file. For that, you will need to access the file folder, right-click on UBWUSER.ini.file, and then select the rename option. After that, you will need to add .old in the file name. Also, rename the ECML.file to resolve the QuickBooks not opening problem.
