Sleep Disorder Symptoms

Do I have a Sleep Disorder?

If you are having sleep problems or think that you may have a sleep disorder, the first thing you should do is talk to your doctor.  Your GP can assess your condition and refer you to an accredited sleep specialist for further investigation or refer you to Ethical Sleep Studies, to find out if you have a sleep disorder. Please print out a referral form for your GP.

Symptoms of sleep disorders include

  • fatigue

  • daytime tiredness

  • waking up unrefreshed

  • multiple trips to the toilet overnight

  • gasping while sleeping

  • snoring

  • stopping breathing while sleeping

  • morning high blood pressure

  • morning headaches

  • difficulty concentrating

  • irritability

  • aggressiveness

  • impulsiveness

  • nightmares

  • restless legs

  • unable to sleep

  • unable to get back to sleep
