About Sleep Covid-19 changes
Dear About Sleep customers,
We have all found ourselves in a very uncertain time following the Coronavirus outbreak. We hope that our clients and their families remain safe and healthy while we wait to see how the next few weeks unfold. We now have extensive measures in place to protect our clients, our staff and the general public. Please understand that these changes are necessary for us to remain open and continue to help you for as long as possible.
Visiting our clinics:
We have separated our three clinics into teams to ensure continuity of service. Only one person will be working at each clinic each day. Please be patient.
Other staff are working from home as they are high risk. They will get back to you if you leave a message on our phones. They can do remote downloads, answer questions and give the personal service you are used to. They have access to our data base and email.
Only one person will be allowed into the clinic at a time. If there is already someone inside, please wait outside until they leave. Please make use of the available hand sanitiser.
When you call to make an appointment, we will need to ask you a series of questions about your Covid-19 status to ensure it is safe for you to visit.
Do you need to come into the clinic?
If you need a new mask, mask part, filters or other accessories, please call us. We can arrange to post these to you at no extra charge.
If you need a download of your machine, we may be able to do this remotely and save you a visit.
Our experienced staff can often troubleshoot many problems over the phone. Please give us a call rather than dropping in if you have a problem.
CPAP trials will still be available, with all items cleaned as per current Manufacturers recommendations
Microbial filters, disposable tubing and other mechanisms will create a safe environment. CPAP education will be done over the phone or Zoom for added risk reduction.
We are also offering excellent prices on the purchase of a machine and mask with the ability to return the mask and exchange it for a different one if you do not like it.
We will still provide the same level of support and weekly downloads as always as this can all be done remotely.
We will still be performing sleep studies, however, they will work a bit differently
We are no longer able to wire patients up in the clinic. Instead, we will provide all the equipment and you will set yourself up in to comfort of your own home.
We appreciate your understanding during this challenging time. We will endeavour to keep you updated if or when further changes are required. Please do not hesitate to pick up the phone and call us so that we can discuss how we can help you in the best and safest way possible.
